Golda Marcus is one of the most popular and richest Swimmer who was born on March 15, 1983 in Nahuizalco, Sonsonate Department, El Salvador. In the 2007 CCCANs she won the 200 400, 200, and 800 meters freestyles. She also placed second in the 200-meter butterfly.
In 2006, at the Central American and Caribbean Games She won silver medals for the 1500m Free for women and within the relay 4×200 Freestyle.
She also represented El Salvador at the 2003 and 2007 World Championships, and at the 2007 Pan American Games.
As of June 2009, she is now coaching at De Anza Cupertino Aquatics (DACA) in California. She teaches at Saratoga High School with competitive swimmers.
